大顶苦瓜盛产于狮山谭边村,因其外观“顶大身短”,形似青椒得名,有常规绿瓜与白玉瓜两个品种。
Abundant in Tanbian Village, Shishan Town in Foshan, Dading bitter gourd got the name for its appearance of “big top and short body”. “Dading”, in Chinese, means “something or someone with a big head”. Dading bitter gourd can be classified into two varieties: green melons and white jade ones.

There is a local saying going that anyone who hasn’t eaten bamboo congee doesn’t count as having been to Luocun, Shishan Town. After Grain Rain which falls on April 19, 20 or 21 every year, Langsha bamboo shoots will be one after another dug out and sent to market for sale, until October!
朗沙南星是远近驰名的“沙口笋之乡”,因竹笋生在位于三江交汇冲积形成的河滩地沙口而得名。数百年来,村民开发了笋的N种做法,炒、煮、焖、煲……都能把笋的原汁原味完美地熬制出来。
Nanxing, Langsha Village, located in a sandy alluvial floodplain formed by the confluence of three rivers, is one of the best places to grow bamboo shoots. Therefore, bamboo shoots there are named as Shakou bamboo shoots and Nanxing is known as “the home of Shakou bamboo shoots” (Shakou in chinese means “sandy floodplain”). 通常在五月下旬,石碣西瓜就会迎来成熟季。走进南海狮山石碣村、吴屋村的乡野间,绿油油的西瓜田仿佛织了一张巨大绿毯美了一方水土。
Shijie Watermelons are normally ripe in late May. When taking a walk in Shijie Village and Wuwu Village, Shishan Town in Nanhai District, you will definitely be impressed by a stunning landscape of an extensive watermelon field, which is just like a nicely-knitted, green carpet.
瓜田里所种的就是远近驰名的“石碣西瓜”,品种多样。按照瓜瓤的颜色,又可分为红肉瓜和黄肉瓜。
The watermelons there are called Shijie watermelons, which are widely-known in Foshan. Besides, they can be divided into several varieties in terms of pulp color: red and yellow.
其中,最清甜多汁的金钟西瓜往往能长到至少10斤以上,也有不少能长到20-30斤,可谓是西瓜中的“重量级选手”!
Among all these varieties, Jinzhong watermelons, one of the most sweet and juicy one, can normally grow to at least 5 kilograms or more. Some can even grow to 10-15 kilograms.
瓜肉起沙的黄肉瓜更是“石碣西瓜”中的一大特色,村内种植的品种多为麒麟王。咬上一口,口感仿佛在喝西瓜冰沙,甘甜多汁又有口感,爽!
What’s more, the granular texture of yellow pulp is one of the characteristics of Shijie watermelons. Qilinwang watermelons, for example, a variety that grows the most in the village, are of yellow pulp. When taking a bite, you may feel like you are drinking sweet, tasty watermelon smoothies!
敲打西瓜,声音为“噗噗”的浑厚浑厚响声,说明瓜已成熟可摘、甜度高。吃西瓜之前,建议先用凉水浸泡或放冰箱,风味更佳。
Tips: the deep, sonorous sound by tapping watermelons indicates that they are ripe and sweet. It is recommended to soak them in cold water or put in the fridge for a while for a better taste before eating.

6月1日起,广东高温津贴标准调高至每月300元。
广东省人力资源和社会保障厅、广东省卫生健康委、广东省应急管理厅、国家税务总局广东省税务局、广东省总工会等5部门已发出通知,调高我省高温津贴标准至每人每月300元,如按照规定需按天数折算高温津贴的,每人每天13.8元,每年6月至10月发放。新的高温津贴标准自2021年6月1日起施行,《关于公布我省高温津贴标准的通知》(粤人社发〔2012〕118号)同时废止。
此次公布的高温津贴标准,是2012年以来我省首次调整,参照我省地区生产总值、城镇非私营单位就业人员平均工资、人均消费支出、最低工资标准等指标增长情况确定,较2012年的150元/月标准提高了一倍,将直接惠及30万一线作业的环卫工人和超300万的建筑工人,为此类职工全年增加750元的高温津贴。

这几天,我国新冠疫苗接种速度突飞猛进。5月26日,接种量达2000.9万剂次。这是中国新冠疫苗单日接种剂次首度突破2000万。5月28日,接种剂次累计突破6亿,距离突破5亿剂次的5月23日,仅仅过去5天。
这些数字意味着什么?
首先,意味着公众打疫苗意愿高涨,中国人可以更快建立起全民免疫屏障。要建立七成人群接种疫苗的最低程度免疫屏障,我国需要给10亿人接种约20亿剂次疫苗。自5月12日以来,我国已连续18天新冠疫苗单日接种超1000万剂次。尤其是5月13日多地出现本土确诊病例以来,疫苗接种不断加速,全国单日接种量多次刷新纪录。5月24日以来的这一周,疫苗单日接种剂次都维持在1600万以上的高位。目前已接种超过6.2亿剂次,如果保持当前每日1600万至2000万之间的高位接种剂次,再过80天左右即可初步完成目标。
其次,意味着中国企业已具有强大的疫苗生产能力,中国将为全球疫情防控作出更大贡献。一个多月前,国务院联防联控机制科研攻关组疫苗研发专班工作组组长、国家卫生健康委医药卫生科技发展研究中心主任郑忠伟曾表示,当时我国已达到接近50亿剂的新冠疫苗年产能。
目前中国几大新冠疫苗生产企业中,国药集团年产能将达到30亿剂,科兴已经形成了年产20亿剂以上的生产能力,康希诺生物有望实现7亿剂年产能,智飞生物重组蛋白疫苗预计今年将生产5亿剂,康泰生物灭活疫苗目前设计年产能是2亿剂。这么一数,仅这几家已获批新冠疫苗附条件上市或紧急使用的中国企业,预期建设的疫苗年产能就超过60亿剂,在满足国人疫苗接种需求之余,还能大量出口,为全球疫情防控作出贡献。
截至4月底,中国出口新冠疫苗数量超过全世界其他新冠疫苗生产国的出口总和。在全球各地深陷疫情困扰的今天,中国新冠疫苗产能的提升,对全球疫情防控工作无疑是重大利好,尤其对于无力自主研发生产新冠疫苗的众多发展中国家和欠发达地区来说,是他们战胜疫情的重要希望。
从全球范围看,新冠疫苗是抗击疫情的最有力武器。不断向全球供应可靠疫苗的中国,正用实际行动践行人类命运共同体理念,构建人类卫生健康共同体。
